Alongside the global crisis of food systems, school meals programs are suggested as an opportunity to tackle food insecurity while promoting healthy, equitable meals and nutrition literacy to address some food system challenges. School Meals are a pivotal platform in the global transition to healthy and environmentally sustainable food systems.
