Its an exciting time to be in the North East and building on this momentum Film Hub North, North East Screen and Fulwell 73 have joined forces to invite the Film and TV community of the North out for a much deserved pint! Filmmakers in attendance will have the opportunity to chat with the Film Hub North and North East Screen teams about the support available through our talent development schemes and up coming regional production. With DJ Awkward Black Girl spinning the tunes and a free drink on arrival it's also a great opportunity to meet the growing community of local film and tv industry folk, share stories and meet future collaborators.

We'll also have execs from Film 4 and Doc Society on hand to answer questions on what they are looking for in proposals.

This mixer is one of the first in a series of industry events as part of the Scratch Me industry programme. A partnership between Film Hub North, North East Screen and Fulwell 73 to unearth amazing northern characters for the screen. This event will be held on the mezzanine and lower ground floor of Castros. The venue is ground level accessible via High Friar Lane (opposite Tyneside Cinema) and via Hood Street for lower level access. The venue has an accessible toilet.
