About the workshop
Learn the process from photographing your yarn before you cast on, followed by wip shots and still lifes, and finally how to capture the finished piece.
Skill Level: Beginner
Materials: Photo props and back- grounds to use during the workshop are provided. Bring a digital camera (can be a mobile phone), 3 balls of yarn in matching colours, a WIP and a small finished object (mittens, socks or some- thing like that).
Maja Karlsson is a Swedish knitwear designer and writer, with a special interest for knitwear photography. She runs her own webshop called Majas Manufaktur, designs and blogs for Järbo Garn as well as Allers and other Swedish Magazines. This autumn Maja ́s debut book “Sticka svenska mönster” will be released in Sweden by Bonnier Fakta. It ́s a book about Swedish traditional knitting.
