Description

Enjoy an evening of heavenly music from the celebrated Chanctonbury Chorus and their conductor Siobhan Denning.

The music has been chosen to reflect the 100 year Anniversary of the First World War and to pay homage to patron Saint of musicians; St Cecilia.

The work was composed by Benjamin Britten with words by W.H Auden and first performed in 1946, just after the second world war.

Chanctonbury Chorus is honoured to hold this concert in association with
Building Heroes who, provide skills training to Military Veterans
and support into employment in the building trades.


The Building Heroes mission is to tackle unemployment amongst those
who have kept us safe by offering them a new career in construction.
