Role:

• Jose Emilio Labra Gayo – Associate Professor School of Computer Science Engineering at the University of Oviedo, Spain

Topic: We will hear from Empathy and the University of Oviedo about their recent Solid Challenge. Three groups submitted. Jose will explain each project and the applications they created. Lastly, the winner will be announced live during the event!

Czech Technical University in Prague/Inbox – Antonín Karola

Role: Student/Solid Developer/Web Developer

Topic: Antonin will showcase the Inbox application (https://whyineedtofillusername.github.io/inbox/). It is using Solid Pod for email-like messaging. Built on Linked Data Notifications W3C Recommendation, it allows Solid users to send and consume messages. Inbox is written using Angular, so it runs solely in a browser, keeping user data private.
