Event description

Description

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to a members meeting and the 2016/17 Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group Annual General Meeting.

MEMBERS MEETING (12.45-14.30): The members meeting is a closed meeting for member practices only. It will be an opportunity for us all to reflect and discuss what we have achieved since the start of the CCG and the journey you and your patients have taken. We will look at the challenges and the opportunities that the future holds and how you can support this locally. The discussion will be led by Dr Anand Chitnis, members of the senior management team and clinical leads including Geoff Naylor (Clinical Cabinet), John Davenport (Acute Pod), Mike Baker (Community Pod), Angela Brady (Mental Health Pod) and Sue Harrower (Developing General Practice Pod). You are invited to join in and share your views on the day by participating in the open discussions and/or by submitting a question in advance to r.burley@nhs.net (mark the subject box ‘Members meeting question’) or call Ruth on 0121 713 8800.

There will be networking opportunities both before and after the members meeting to discuss topics with Clinical Commissioning Group member colleagues and Governing Body members. (Lunch will be provided during networking 12.45-13.15)

SOLIHULL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) (14.30-16.30): The AGM is a public meeting. As well as sharing with you how the last year has gone and our challenges for the coming year we would also like to highlight the hard work that has been undertaken in our endeavours to provide a patient centred service. There will be the opportunity to reflect on our achievements in reducing health inequalities and improving quality and share with you the challenges we face in the future, in developing our services to meet the changing health needs of people living in the Solihull area.

We will have stalls from local and national providers showcasing the services available that help provide a whole community approach within Solihull.

We request all members to attend the AGM as it is invaluable to the public to be able to hear the views and experiences of frontline staff. Attendance at the AGM is encouraged in the Delivering Excellence contract and the DEiS.

To reserve your place at the Members Meeting and the Annual General Meeting then click on the register button and follow the easy instructions. Alternatively contact Ruth Burley on r.burley@nhs.net / 0121 713 8800. Places will be awarded on a first come basis so book early to avoid disappointment. Bookings will close on Friday 30 June 2017. We look forward to seeing you there.
