Solo Connects MK
Solo Connects is offering something different for single people in Milton Keynes. For people who are just a bit sick of swiping on dating apps and going on rubbish dates.
People are crying out for connection. And there's a ton of people who want to simply hang out with awesome people and do fun stuff together.
Of course, there is always the hope of finding love, but maybe, in creating a place for connection, the relationship will develop naturally.
Who is it for?
It’s for people who see things they’d love to go to but don’t book it or plan it because they “haven’t got anyone else to go with.”
That stops right here. We want people to get together, have fun, build new memories.
What is included?
Entry into our singles event to meet 150 local single people. No drinks are included in this ticket. All of the ticket money goes towards building the Solo Connects UK community.

We are in a venue that's specifically for our group, but it is a public space. Please take care with your drinks and don't leave them unattended.

Absolutely - the more the merrier. They just need to book and pay for their own ticket. Or, you can book and pay on their behalf (what a great gift!)
This is a space for single people, but we know that lots of people might feel more comfortable with a trusted friend coming along. So, if you're married and are supporting a single friend, then you'd be more than welcome to come.
No, everyone has other stuff to do, so you can drop in as and when you can. Obviously the longer you're at the event, the more lovely people you'll meet. But it's not school; you're welcome to come and go as you please.
Solo Connects MK is run by two fabulous local women (who also run businesses). Samantha Poole is the founder of Ask Go To and runs the highly successful Mum 2 Mum Facebook Group, with over 25,000 members across Milton Keynes. Rachel Allen is a marketing consultant and a 'Tinder Veteran' !!
You'll be welcomed by Sam and Rachel - lots of people say they are nervous, but find that it's very welcoming and relaxed once they arrive! We will run a few ice-breakers and social games, but there's no pressure to join in. There will be lots of time to chat and connect, it will be pretty relaxed.
Yes, we are simply creating a space for single people to get together to connect. You may make brilliant friendships. You may find the love of your life. The more people we bring into this space, the greater chance you've got of meeting your person. Please email if you have any questions about this.
We are here for both. We say it's 'friendship first, dating second' so the idea is to get to know people through our events and mixers and go from there. At our events, we have badges - smily faces for friendship, love hearts for romance and rainbows if you are LGBTQ.
