Solving hydrogen challenges for the future of clean maritime innovation
Hydrogen has a role to play in the future decarbonisation of the global ports and maritime sector, whether as a fuel for
- power generation equipment,
- light marine vessels,
- non-road port machinery in ports,
- or a feedstock for hydrogen derived fuels like methanol.
A number of ports globally are taking advantage of local renewable energy from wind or solar to power electrolysis (performing a chemical reaction in water to separate hydrogen from oxygen) and producing green hydrogen.
To supply these users and governments globally are incentivising the production of green hydrogen with the ambition that growth in production will result in economies of scale and cost reductions similar to those already achieved by solar PV and offshore wind.
But what if you can't get hydrogen from where it is produced to where you need it ?
Please join Rux Energy Pty at the Australian High Commission in London during London International Shipping Week for an exciting event focused on how our patented metal-organic frameworks (smart sponges) can support the adoption of hydrogen in the maritime industry by getting nearly three times as much hydrogen into a given space and keeping there at a lower cost.
Learn from experts and our UK collaboration partners, engage in discussions, and network with like-minded individuals passionate about sustainable solutions. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of the conversation shaping the future of clean maritime innovation!
Admission is free of charge but subject to approval by the Australian High Commission.
