We're extremely excited to get the Som Saa team over from their new Shoreditch restaurant. Having worked under the legendary David Thompson and travelled extensively through Thailand, Andy Oliver and Mark Dobbie popped up Som Saa in 2014 at Climpson's Arch making extensive use of their outdoor wood-fired grill. After massive success they crowdfunded for their restaurant and raised almost 1 million pounds in 2 days! Pretty much every food critic worth their salt are emphatic about it being the best Thai available in London right now.
There'll be a paired list of biodynamic wines and beer to order separately. Lots of Riesling and skin contact whites to cut through the fire.

Smoky hot and sour soup with grilled prawns
Nahm phrik kai kem
Salted duck egg and crab relish with dipping herbs and vegetables
Gaeng hung lae
Burmese-style pork belly curry.
Nahm dtok plaa tort
Whole deep fried seabass with Isaan herbs, roasted rice and nahm dtok dressing.
Khao neow kanoon
Poached jackfruit and sweet sticky rice.
