A walking tour of the Greyfriars Conservation Area, Leicester. Beginning in St Martins, outside the King Richard III Centre, the tour will take in New Street, Friar Lane, Millstone Lane and Greyfriars with a commentary covering the buildings and the area's history from the dissolution of the Franciscan friary in 1538 to the present day. A new tour specially for Heritage Open Days 2025 with architecture as an important theme. Tours take 45 minutes to an hour and are entirely free.
