How to book:
1. Select the preferred day of admission (or treat yourself and attend both!)
2. Select dietary requirement for lunch (if you have one). If no dietary requirements, please leave this option off. If you have allergies email us directly at EOLCEducation@SomersetFT.nhs.uk so we can accommodate you
3. Select the workshops you want to attend. Note the date and time for each workshop, don't book more than one choice per slot! Some workshops run for a double session, some run for a single session. See below for full information about each workshop.
4. Bring your registration information on the day (email or printed copy) and enjoy your conference!

10am Lucy Pollock - Keynote Talk 'Good Questions for Delicate Conversations'
How do we have good conversations about what matters most? What are the barriers and how do we get round them, so that patients can tell us their hopes and fears? How do we allow families to speak on behalf of someone who can’t speak for themselves? Dr Pollock will be exploring and reflecting on these questions with us in her keynote talk

10am Katherine Mannix (via videolink) - Keynote Talk - Tender Conversations
Dr Mannix will discuss her new book ‘Listening’. She will explore the key principles of listening, as well as explaining the difference between listening to respond and listening to understand. She will also ask us to consider how clinicians' reassurance and advice can prevent patients from feeling heard.
