Join our Samhain Celebration, 1st November, Markfield Park, 4pm 'til Late!

The night darkens and the veil is at it's thinnest. Ghosts and monsters walk amongst us. Let us face the dead of winter together, with a night of story, song and celebration.

The Fountayne Fire Society will be hosting a Samhain fire to mark the next turn of the wheel of the year.

These nights are co-created, so please bring food and blankets, songs and stories. There is a strict theme of death, ghosts and monsters for songs and stories at this event. Please peruse the playlist below for ideas and inspiration.

Guising is an important part of the folk traditions. We need to hide away from the evil spirits prowling the night. Please dress up as something scary.

Who we are and what we do....

The Fountayne Fire Society encourages co-creation and participation of all kinds. Come with a game, an instrument, a song or story, an offering for feast or fire. Our events are actively inclusive of all who come with an open heart and mind. If you feel we can do more to make you or friends feel more welcome come have a word with us, we're learning all the time.

We raise funds for a local community groups and charities.

All our events are co-created community celebrations; we are participants, not consumers. Bring songs & stories, food & drink, wood for the fire, pillows & blankets.
