It is said that St Wilfrid was born in a house aflame, yet survived unscarred. It is said that on the first anniversary of his death, the moon and stars were shining so brightly that a lunar rainbow appeared over Ripon.
Wilfrid grew up to be one of the most influential figures in the Kingdom of Northumbria, yet he is little known today. However, his legacy continues to flourish at Ripon Cathedral. His crypt, the oldest building of any English Cathedral, continues as a place of worship and wonder 1,350 years later. Explore Wilfrid's story in a series of projections, each illuminating a new dimension from his history.
