Event description

Description

Songhaven is a professional concert series in London that warmly welcomes people living with dementia along with their friends, family, and carers. We present 40 minute concerts of uplifting and familiar music, followed by afternoon tea.

Our next Songhaven concert will be taking place on Saturday 6th May and takes its inspiration from landscapes and the seasons. Booking will open on 6 April.

Hosted by Vivien Conacher (mezzo soprano), the performance will also feature special guest baritone, Matthew Palmer. Together they will perform famous operatic arias and duets, musical theatre tunes, and also some beloved folk songs. Repertoire will include music by Novello, Rogers & Hammerstein, Mozart, Gershwin, and even some Tom Lehrer!

The concert will finish with a rousing Songhaven Singalong - always a favourite moment of the day, followed by afternoon tea in the Lumen Cafe.

DATE: Saturday, 6th May

TIME: 3:00pm Concert (40 minutes duration), 3:45pm Afternoon Tea

The artists will be wearing concert dress so please feel free to dress for the occasion if you wish!
