Sonic Blooom is an event all about music and sharing it with people to produce connectivity with others. Creating harmony and vibrations, whether high or low to induce positive chemical reactions that heel and alleviate stress as only music can do. And to ensure people feel uplifted and more connected to themselves and others, in an evermore atomised world. The music and the dj’s associated with sonic bloom, play a blend of underground disco, Afro disco, groovy rhythms from around the world, often playing records you have never heard that you wish you had. Bringing light to incredible artists that most western society haven’t heard giving them recognition that they deserve.
Led by DJ Samya —a Melbourne-born DJ based in London, blending underground disco/house, Afro disco, and global grooves. He's performed at Westival, Oslo, Cafe 1001 and Space Talk and has supported Theon Bower, Josh fb, Sunny D, Merchant records, Max Hammer, Bongosyth, Mondo Ritmo. He also the founder of sonic bloom. And is kicking off the sonic bloom series at the Jago, with special guests to be announced for up coming events.
