Sonic Con UK returns...this time to London!

After our sold out debut event Sonic Con UK Manchester in October 2024, Sonic Con UK returns, this time bigger and better in London! It will be taking place at the wonderful Novotel London West on Saturday 1st November 2025.

Sonic Con UK is a Sonic the Hedgehog fan convention organised by Raku Events. We’re huge Sonic fans and with our years of experience organising events such as RakuCon and 2024's Sonic Con UK Manchester, we aim to bring a huge and exciting Sonic the Hedgehog convention to the heart of London. Our goal is bringing together the greatest fanbase in the world and celebrating all things Sonic!

What to expect at Sonic Con UK London:

💙 Meet & Greets:

We're incredibly excited for our special guests to attend Sonic Con UK! We're honoured to have them appear at the event and we can't wait for you to meet them. We'll have meet & greets throughout the day where you can meet our special guests, take selfies, get something signed and buy merch! Special guests include: Johnny Gioeli of Crush 40, TJ Davis, Bentley Jones and more!

💙 Guest Interviews:

We will also have some guest interviews throughout the day where you can ask questions and learn about their experience in the industry! Have a break from walking around the convention, sit down and listen to some amazing interviews from your favourite guests.

💙 Amazing Dealers and Incredible Artists:

We’ll have a wide variety of dealers and artists alike, with a whole hall dedicated to dealers and artists! We have a strict policy for absolutely no bootleg merch, so you can shop safely knowing you’re only buying from dealers with official Sonic the Hedgehog figures and collectibles, as well as artists with unique styles for both their original and fanart items.

💙 Performances & Panels:

Take a break from walking around the convention and watch some amazing performers and panellists! There will be a lovely variety of performances and panels throughout the day.

💙 Workshops & Art Space:

Want to learn something new? Take part in a range of exciting workshops, learn new skills and make friends! We will also have a dedicated art space - show us your amazing art skills and proudly present it on our dedicated Sonic Con UK art board!

💙 Games Area:

Expect an impressive games area with a huge line-up of Sonic games! Spanning a massive range of games from across the franchise, we'll have a huge array of consoles for you to play on. We will also have a variety of gaming competitions to take part in to win some Sonic Con UK goodies!

💙 Competitions:

As well as our games room we will also have multiple gaming competitions throughout the day! You can take part for a chance to win some cool prizes! We will also have some quizzes throughout the day, put your Sonic knowledge to the test for a chance to win even more prizes!

💙 Karaoke:

Karaoke was a fan favourite at the last Sonic Con UK so we just had to bring it back! Take part in karaoke and sing your heart out to as many Sonic songs as you wish! Just make sure to drink plenty of water!

💙 Photo Studio:

We're happy to announce Hover Media will be returning with their dedicated photo studio! Have a cool cosplay and want some professional pictures taken? Or maybe you just want some pictures taken with friends? The Hover Media photo studio is open to everyone and is absolutely FREE!

💙 After Party (tickets sold out):

We’re super excited to announce that Sonic Con UK will be having an after party on the evening of the 1st November (Saturday) at the Novotel from 8:00PM until 11:59PM! Expect a special DJ set featuring a huge range of Sonic music, as well as some anime and emo classics!

💙 Venue Info:

Sonic Con UK London will take place at the stylish 4-star Novotel London West. The venue is perfectly located just a short three minute walk from Hammersmith Underground Stations (Piccadilly, District and Hammersmith & City). We will be taking over the entire 1st floor of the venue, giving us over 18,000ft of floorspace.

With Sonic Con UK taking place at a hotel you can stay right at the venue itself, meaning you don’t need to worry about travelling to the convention on the day. There are a variety of fantastic rooms available and you can check them all out by clicking here.
