Event description

Description

Join us for the first of our new series of conferences and intensives for 2018.

If you have begun to explore living in dual realms of heaven and earth and want to experience more of what it is to walk in your identity, inheritance, position and authority, this is for you!

The Father is calling forth men and women to be revealed as His mature sons on the earth. He is calling forth your spiritual identity in line with your eternal destiny to restore creation to its original design and purpose. Creation too is longing for those sons to be revealed.

As we engage with Him together, we will have opportunity to receive all that is in His heart for us. We will come away empowered to operate more fully in the supernatural authority He has delegated to us to bring heaven to earth.

Some of the topics we expect to explore together are:

  • Restoration of fatherhood and sonship

  • The call to the Joshua Generation

  • Accessing the fire stones of destiny

  • Engaging the Ya Sod, the Father’s heart, in the ‘what was’ of eternity past.

  • Standing in the 4 faces of God

  • Operating in the Order of Melchizedek

The conference begins with registration from 6.30pm on the Thursday evening, followed by the first session at 7.30pm. It runs all day on Friday and Saturday, concluding at 9.30pm on the Saturday. You are welcome to join Freedom Church for our regular 10.30am meeting the next day.

Sessions will include teaching and activations led by Mike Parsons and others from the ekklesia at Freedom. The conference will be held in our own facilities at the Freedom Centre in Barnstaple. For further information about this and other events, including travel, local accommodation and parking restrictions at the venue, please visit www.freedomarc.org/sonsarise

Although we offer a limited live streaming option on that page too, we recommend that you attend in person if possible in order to fully experience the atmosphere and community of the gathering and to build relationships with others on this journey. The teaching and corporate activations from the conference will be live streamed and recorded, but not the worship times.

Digital files of the recordings (audio and video) will be available to all ticketholders after the event free of charge for your personal use. We will also make them available to purchase from our website for others.

The teaching/experience level of this conference is intermediate. We recommend this event for those who already have at least some experience of stepping into the realms of heaven and personal transformation. For those who are with us on the Engaging God programme, it is suitable for you if have completed most of Module 2 (Base Camp) or beyond. If you are new to these things, we suggest you consider signing up for Engaging God instead at www.freedomarc.org/freetrial

In making a booking you confirm that you have read and agree to the Event Terms and Conditions of Freedom Apostolic Ministries Limited.

FAQs

Is Sons Arise just for men?

No, it’s for men and women! We don’t say ‘daughters’ because in the Hebrew tradition daughters did not obtain an inheritance. If men can be ‘the bride’ then certainly women can be sons.

Where are the events being held?

At our own building, The Freedom Centre, 1 Howard Avenue. Barnstaple, Devon EX32 8QA, UK (see map).
During intensives, we will be using designated areas of the Centre but other parts of the building will be open to the public as usual.
During conferences, the Centre will be closed to the general public.

What is the best way of getting there?

By road:

SatNav: enter our postcode: EX32 8QA

The Freedom Centre is situated on the eastern outskirts of Barnstaple.
Download or view directions here.

By rail:

There is a railway station in Barnstaple, about 10 minutes’ walk from the town centre (about 25 minutes’ walk from the Freedom Centre).

If coming from London, the fastest trains depart from Paddington station. There are also trains from London Waterloo, but these are much slower. Wherever your point of departure, you will need to change trains at Exeter St. David’s for the trip along the picturesque Tarka Line branch to Barnstaple.

On arrival at Barnstaple you will probably wish to take a bus or taxi (both available at the railway station) to your accommodation or to the Freedom Centre.

[Note: You may wish to take the train to Tiverton Parkway and travel the 37 miles from there to Barnstaple by taxi. It is advisable to book the taxi in advance. This will normally be faster than changing trains at Exeter St. David’s but is likely to be more expensive.]

By bus or coach:

The local bus and National Express coach station is in the centre of Barnstaple, 15 minutes’ walk from the Freedom Centre.

Can I park at the venue?

Parking at the Freedom Centre is limited and we can only offer spaces to individuals who are registered disabled and have notified us of their need for a parking space when purchasing their event ticket.

There are two small public pay-and-display car parks wthin a few minutes walk of the Freedom Centre:

  • Congram’s Close EX32 9AN and
  • Portmarsh Lane EX32 9HY.

For those staying in the recommended hotels (see below), the best option will be to leave your car there and come to the Centre on foot.

Is accommodation available nearby?

We have arranged favourable rates with local hotel chain Brend Hotels. Please note that these rates are only available when booking direct with Brend Hotels central reservations team using the phone numbers or email address provided, and not with the hotels themselves or online. Rates vary according to the time of year. The relevant price information can be viewed or downloaded below:

Their nearest hotel is The Park Hotel (4 stars), about 11 minutes walk from the Freedom Centre. The Imperial Hotel (4 stars) and The Royal and Fortescue Hotel (3 stars) are a few minutes further away, but closer to the town centre. The Barnstaple Hotel (3 stars) is on the opposite side of town. Breakfast is included in the rates quoted and all Brend hotels have restaurants for your evening meals if required.

You may wish to consider Barnstaple Premier Inn (3 stars, national budget chain) instead. This is on the eastern edge of town, also about 11 minutes walk away from the Freedom Centre. There is a pub-style restaurant attached.

Or search for local hotels, bed and breakfasts or camping and caravanning on the internet.

Barnstaple is in a popular holiday area, so please make sure you book your accommodation promptly.

What meals will be served at the event?

Conferences – There will be no food served at the conferences, however there are food outlets within walking distance of the Centre. There will be tea/coffee freely available during session breaks.

Can I bring my children?

No. We are sorry, the event is suitable for persons over the age of 16 years only. There are no facilities available for children.

Will the events be livestreamed?

Limited livestreaming of the conferences will be available to purchase on our website. The cost for access to the livestream of each conference will be £30. The teaching and public activations will be livestreamed, but not the worship or any private activation times.

The intensives will not be livestreamed.

Will the events be recorded?

The conferences will be both video and audio recorded. The recordings will be made available online to all those who have a ticket to the event or the livestream and these will be made available shortly after the event has finished.

The conference recordings will also be available for all non-ticket holders to buy.

We may record parts of the intensives. If so, we will make any recordings available to attendees free of charge.

There is no dress code for our conferences or intensives but we do recommend wearing something comfortable as there will be a lot of sitting down.
