Soothe sessions are all about relaxing your frazzled mind and body. Life can be super busy and its sometimes hard to completely rest and switch off, that's where restorative yoga comes in. Restorative yoga involves lying in comfortable positions using a special cushion called a bolster for a few minutes, before moving into another position. The room is quiet, lighting is low and twinkly and the focus is on slowly unwinding and loosening muscles and minds. We start the session with a very gentle seated or lying warm up, then proceed to breathing exercises, restorative yoga and finishing with a guided relaxation (yoga nidra). The aim is to feel that you've had an hour and a half of the most wonderful restorative and well deserved rest.
