Brahms: Sonata No.3 in D minor, Op.108 (1886-8)

Brahms: Sonata No. 1 in G major, Op. 78 (1878-9)

Robert Schumann: Sonata No. 2 in D minor, Op. 121 (1851)

Violinist Sophia Prodanova is increasingly in demand as a leader with groups such the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Ensemble Pygmalion and regularly plays with distinguished period ensembles including Arcangelo, English Baroque Soloists and Dunedin Consort. Over the last twenty years, pianist John Reid has built up a performing career of notable versatility and range, working, in recent seasons, with Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, the Nash Ensemble and Aurora Orchestra. He is also a Professor at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
