Sophie's Celebration of Life
We are ready to share details of our ‘Sophie style’ celebration for October 10th.
Sophie really wanted to have a party with all of her friends while she was with us, but that became too hard to organise. In honour of that we are taking the opportunity on October 10th to combine her funeral with a party. Do come and join us and bring your love, energy and shared memories to help create the send-off Sophie would like.
You are welcome to arrive from 12.30 pm for coffee at Bridge Barn House, Kibworth, in time for a short service that will commence at 1.15pm. Immediate family only will go with Sophie to the crematorium at Great Glen whilst guests are invited to have some lunch. At around 3pm we will have a ‘celebration’ of her life with stories and photos followed by a toast. We will end the day with DJ and dancing as Sophie would want us to do, finishing by 6pm. If you will need to have an overnight stay, please make your own arrangements. (There is limited accommodation at the venue).
Dress is smart casual, with a colour theme of orange and pink (Soph’s choice!). #sophsangels t-shirts entirely appropriate, bring your angel too if you like.
To help us work out numbers for catering, please register for a ticket on Eventbrite by Tuesday 30th September at the latest.
Sophie would want to collect donations to Loros, rather than having flowers. Her ‘giving’ page can be found on the Stamps Funeral Directors website, or there will be QR codes or donation boxes on the day.
