This event provides an exciting opportunity to meet SOSE’s Chair – Professor Russel Griggs OBE – and new Chief Executive – Jane Morrison Ross. Owing to COVID it is the first opportunity to be able to do so in person.

The events provide an opportunity for SOSE senior leaders to update on how previous engagement has helped shape SOSE’s initial focus, and to highlight some of the work and the difference our support has made to businesses, social enterprises, community and other organisations in your area.

We will be looking to the future too, sharing and importantly inviting your views on our future plans and the role you require of us. Engaging with and listening to people in the South of Scotland has been a key way in which we work and we are committed to continuing to do so.

The meetings help us deliver on the a promise we made that we would, once established, be back – having visited many communities across the South of Scotland two years ago in the lead up to establishing SOSE.

Covid 19 / Track and Trace

In line with Scottish Government guidance, we would request all those attending our engagement sessions to take a lateral flow test beforehand. If you test positive, please stay at home, isolate and take a PCR test.

In order to comply with Covid 19 guidlines we will collect your mobile phone number as part of the booking process. Your name and phone number will be shared with the host venue and stored securely for 4 weeks post event to enable Track and Trace to contact you in the event of a Covid 19 outbreak.
