Meeting for coffee at the Tom Dixon store at Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross, you’ll board the Electric Barge, where you’ll indulge in a lavish champagne lunch as you travel in style along the Regent’s Canal to Frieze Masters. While on board, you’ll hear from an expert panel that includes Frances Christie, the head of Modern & Post-War British Art at Sotheby’s, Chloe Stead, a deputy director from the auction house’s Old Master department, and Katy Hessel, a curator, art historian and founder of the pioneering Instagram account @thegreatwomenartists. The speakers will share advice on the women artists to look out for at Frieze Masters, which you will be free to explore at the end of the trip.
Tickets include morning coffee, lunch and Ruinart champagne, the barge trip and a day ticket to Frieze Masters.
