Soul Cafe Talk & Meetup 'The Inspiring Journey of a Wounded Healer' Miguel...
Tue 5 April 2016, 19:30 – 22:00 BST
Miguel believes that we are all healers when we decide to give of ourselves.
Often the most powerful healers are those who have chosen to learn and integrate wisdom from the challenges that Life has gifted them with. Miguel’s perspective is that there are many gifts in adversity if we know how to unwrap the gifts. The biggest gift from adversity and challenge is the stripping away of the false within us to reveal who we truly are, the best version of ourselves, the unlimited energetic beings that we are, having an extraordinary human experience.
In his talks from the heart he shares his beautiful, raw and inspirational story about life's challenges. Join him on a journey from addiction, loss, separation, and illness to a life of joy, beauty, gratitude and love. His honesty and integrity will leave you so connected to Miguel's energy and resourcefulness that you facilitate your own healing as you listen.
Miguel Dean is the project leader with The Wrekin Trust, director at Miguel Dean Youth Training and Development CIC, sacred activist, author of Stepping Stones In The Mist and an Outrospective Coach. He has spent over 15 years working to empower disadvantaged young people and heal his own wounds rooted in childhood. Miguel believes that the key to a collective awakening of humanity is an ‘inside job’. When we change ourselves we change the world and paradoxically when we empower others to change, this facilitates our own inner growth too. Through one to one work, talks and workshops Miguel is touching the hearts of many with his grounded approach to spirituality and his message is simple: ‘It is time for us to Wake Up.’
An evening not to be missed.
As well as the talk we will be running a regular BOOK EXCHANGE so bring along any books that you feel have inspired you or pick a book from the selection and just bring it back once you've read it (no money is exchanged just trust). We like to keep a record of who donates and borrows books so we can keep a check on where each book is.
Admission: £5 on the door, this includes FREE refreshments.
Doors open from 7pm with the talk commencing at 7.30pm prompt.
Venue: Station Hotel, Castle Hill, Dudley, DY1 4RA.
