Soul Motion by Freedom of Movement
Overview
Soul Motion by Freedom of Movement
Soul Motion helps to develop a mindful connection with the body through embodied movement/conscious dance in a safe accepting environment, enabling you to explore your most authentic self.
I am a relational integrative therapist, accredited member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and a Soul Motion Teacher in training.
The group is 1.5 hours (20.00-21.30), will begin with meditation, then from stillness we will move into free dance before finally returning to stillness and meditation.
Please arrive by 19.50, so we can begin the group together at 20.00 without interruption.
Wear clothes that are comfortable to move in and bring water, a yoga mat or sheepskin etc to sit on if necessary for you during meditation and the welcome circle/sharing time.
The group is a safe and inclusive space so I would ask that you please treat all participants with compassion and respect.
This group is a sober space so please refrain from consuming alcohol or drugs prior to the group.
During the practice there is no talking so if you wish to talk with a participant, please do so outside the movement space.
If you have any health conditions which may be impacted by the practice then please consult your GP or health practitioner prior to attending. Please also inform me directly of any existing health conditions as well as relevant contact information in case of an emergency, any personal information shared with me will remain confidential.
