About Firewalking…

When you do your first FIREWALK, you’ll come for your own reasons, as everyone does. Whether it’s just for the thrill of experiencing fear and taking action. Or maybe, it’s an opportunity to discover your own true potential, and therefore, build the foundations for your future. Furthermore, when you leave, you will also leave with something unique and treasure for yourself… a greater self awareness of your own mental resilience!

Firewalking provides a controlled environment for you to face fear, doubt & uncertainty, and discover how you show up when challenge shows up for you!

We have all faced our fair share of challenge in recent times, and an experience like this can reconnect us with our innate ability to adapt and overcome when times get tough. Discover how your own mental health is an invaluable asset and how, by thinking a little differently, we can determine how the experiences we have in every day life affect us.

Preparation

  • DO NOT consume any alcohol or substances that can impair your judgement. You will NOT be permitted to take part.
  • DO NOT wear tights
  • DO NOT wear long skirts or dresses,
  • DO NOT wear anything flammable or that could melt such as polyester or floaty, silky stuff and this includes jackets. You will be close to an intense heat source.
  • DO wear boots or shoes that are easy to take on and off,
  • DO wear jeans or cotton trousers (make sure that you can roll the legs up about 4 inches above your ankle so be careful with super skinnies!)
  • DO wear bright, light colors. You’ll stand out much better against a dark background in any photos when you wear light colors.
  • DO eat before or bring some snacks, you will need your energy with you for the walk,
  • DO wear layers, you will be outside at some point, it may very well might be cold or raining. It’s the UK after all!!
  • DO bring a waterproof jacket or at the very least something warm for the same reason above!

What to bring with you...

We would suggest you bring a small towel and a spare pair of socks with you for after the workshop. Your feet will be dirty and your feet and socks may be wet. Something warm is good after you’ve been to the fire.

Do bring an open mind, courage and the most positive, energetic, fantastic ‘you' that you can find!! You’ll need all of those things!
