Just got paid is a monthly event laid on by Soulgigs for, colleagues, guests and associates. They mostly share a similar mid month pay day and enjoy the opportunity to socialise in a friendly and professional environment after work.
This event will screen the film Brown Sugar within the Rizy Picture House, which is where the After Party also takes place. Brown Sugar is a 2002 romantic comedy which centers on a romance between an A&R exec, Dre (Taye Diggs), at a hip-hop label and a magazine editor, Sidney (Sanaa Lathan), who have known each other since childhood.. They find themselves drifting towards being more than friends, even as Dre is engaged, and Sidney starts being wooed by a handsome basketball player.
Straight after expect musical genres to include RnB, Hip Hop, Reggae, House, Classic Soul, Club Classics, Soca, Afro Beats and Jungle. Guests are typically over 30 and the selection of music will reflect the experience of the mature and sophisticated crowd.
Resident DJs Simon P, Nico T, & special guests on rotation. Previous films screened include Set it Off, Best Man, A Thin Line Between Love & hate and Love Jones.

You do not have to get two sets of tickets if you want to attend both film and After Party!
If you would like to go to the film and Just got paid simply select the ticket which does both.
Brown Sugar - earlybirds £6.00 + b/f, £8.00+ b/f and £10.00 + b/f thereafter.
After Party only - Access from 10.00pm ( limited) free tickets which are valid before 10.30pm only. £5.00 incl b/f after 10.30pm with ticket.
