RETURNING TO SOUL

The team at Soulmaking in Nature joyously invites you to our launch and first Communitas gathering!

Communitas calls us into sacred connection alongise nature. Come and gather in authentic connection and belonging within a shared field of purpose called Soulmaking. Communitas invites you to gather in ceremony, weave intention, look into the unknow, create shared healing/wholing, and deeply listen to what wants to emerge in the fabric of our shared journey together.

Be part of this space where our soulmaking community can feel itself and how it wants to grow.

Due to our larger gathering, planning has been done with great care. Our neighbours have kindly agreed to lift the 16 person onsite limit to enable this special event.

Gathering

We gather as a group of 35 in a large tipi on the field. Others will be gathering with us in spirit.

This Communitas event is being offered at cost to cover accomodation, tipi hire and catering. Lead guides and support team are offering their time without charge. Any surplus will be retained for future Communitas events.

Food and drink

  • There will be a feast on Saturday night. It will be vegan with gluten free options.
  • Please self-cater for other meals. Kitchen space is extremely limited so please be minimal in what you bring.
  • Teas, coffee and oatmilk will be provided.

Travel

  • Please car share where possible to limit the number of cars onsite.
  • There will be pre-booked transport from Oxenholme station to Longsleddale at 3.30pm on Friday. Please book your ticket when you book your place for the weekend.

Accommodation

  • There are a limited number of camping, sleeping barn and camper van places. To stay onsite you are required to book a space. This honours our agreement with the LOPC owners.
  • If no spaces are available you will need to stay offsite.

Timings

The Communitas event starts in ceremony at 10am on Saturday morning. Please arrive in plenty of time.

If you are staying onsite you may arrive from 4pm on Friday.

Everyone is asked to leave the site by 5pm on Sunday.

Frequently asked questions

Is there parking?

Parking is limited. Our gathering is 35 people and we are keen to minimise the impact on neighbours. We ask you to car share or travel by train as you are able.

Will we be sitting outside?

There will be a spacious large tipi holding our gathering due to the vagaries of weather in the valley.

What if I can't stay on site?

We ask you to make arrangements to stay in the wide range of accommodation in the area.

Can I book for just one day?

Each place is for two days. If you can only come for one day, we ask that the place goes to someone who can come for both days.
