About this event

Joining the healing power of sound to the divine in your soul.

This one hour experience guides you into a deep meditative state using the sounds of Crystal Singing Bowls. The sounds emitted from the bowls are enchanting harmonic tones reminiscent of an angelic choir. The bowls create a feeling of peace in a loving and compassionate way, bringing us back into perfect balance and harmony.

The sound bath session lasts for an hour and yoga mats are provided. The room is heated but you may wish to bring a blanket for your comfort.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Sound Bath?

It is a powerful therapy that combines different healing sounds to improve our well-being by creating a beautiful experience where body, mind, soul, spirit are awakened gently and lovingly. The vibrations penetrate deep into the tissues. It is, in effect, a form of massage at a cellular level.

Do I have to do anything during the session?

No. This is a meditative experience where you just have to lie back and let the sound waves wash over you. You will be invited to drink some water at the end and you may wish to write any experiences in a journal afterwards.

Is it safe for me if I'm pregnant?

It's safest to avoid low resonant sounds, like gongs, if you are in your first trimester.

Are there any other health concerns?

If you are prone to sound-induced epilepsy or if you have a history of severe mental illness then Sound Baths are not advised. If you have a heart pacemaker, stent, shunt, deep brain stimulation or any other implanted electrical device then stay about 1 metre away from the instruments.

Is it suitable for children?

Perfectly, as long as they are able to lie quietly and still for about an hour.

What if I arrive late?

The doors will be closed from 7pm as we will begin the meditation journey. If you know you are going to be a couple of minutes late, text me on 0796 111 0122 by 7pm and I can hold the start five minutes. Otherwise It's not fair on the other participants to be interrupted by a late arrival. Sorry.

Organised by

Sound Bath is a mediative experience. You sit or lay down and let sound vibrations ‘wash’ over you.

I primarily use crystal singing bowls, tuned to the body’s seven chakras, to create harmonies that bring balance to mind, body and soul and also to release blocked energies within. I also bring in the sounds of a drum, rainstick, gong and chimes to assist in creating a richer soundscape for your relaxation experience.

The session lasts roughly 45-50 minutes.
