Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring a blanket and a pillow for extra comfort.

Can anyone take part?

Sound Baths are suitable for everyone. However please note: Sound baths are not suitable for those in first trimester of pregnancy, anyone with severe mental health challenges, extensive metal plating or pacemakers. By booking you are confirming you do not have any of the above.

Is there parking onsite?

Yes there is plenty of free parking at NCW

What should I wear?

Something comfortable, like yoga pants, joggers, loose clothing ideally, so you can be completely comfortable. It can get cold laying still for a length of time, so if in doubt, bring more layers rather than less.

Do I need to print my ticket out?

No, I have a list of everyone booked on, so no need to print the ticket.

What if I cannot lie on the floor for a long period of time?

If you are unable to lay on the floor, you can sit on a chair and still enjoy the experience.

Organised by

By joining this event, you’ll be helping to support New College Worcester (NCW) – the UK’s only secondary school dedicated to vision impaired young people.

NCW is a national, residential special school for students aged 11–19 who are blind or vision impaired. Many of our students also face additional challenges, such as hearing impairments, physical disabilities, learning difficulties, or being on the autistic spectrum.

While school fees cover education and essential care, the wider costs – such as maintaining our buildings, funding school trips and activities, providing specialist equipment, and running our refurbishment programme – all rely on fundraising and community support.

Your participation in this event will help us continue providing life-changing opportunities and experiences for our students.
