Event description

Description

Presented by Sound Diplomacy and Music:Leeds, the summer edition of Sound Development will be held in Leeds, UK on June 13th.

WHAT IS SOUND DEVELOPMENT?
Sound Development is the first event of its kind bringing the world’s property developers and music industry together to discuss the relationship between music and the built environment. Some topics previously discussed include the relationship between music and infrastructure, the role of music in creating meanwhile spaces, the contribution of music to placemaking and the reinvention of retail spaces and high-streets.

Across six editions, Sound Development has welcomed 800+ decision makers from both the music and real estate industries.

Leeds is the first city to host the event outside of New York and London and the event will welcome delegates from local council, real estate and the music industry for an evening of discussions and debates on the theme of “Music as Infrastructure” and to explore the intersection of music and urban planning.

WHO WILL ATTEND?
Property investors, real estate industry, music association CEOs, government officials, spatial advisors, designers, artist managers, booking agents, cultural and music hub CEOs, architects, brand development specialists, recording studio managers, cultural strategists, music lawyers, journalists, economic development managers, musicians, university professors, festival organisers, musical collective representatives, creative space managers and more.
