Frequently asked questions

What should I bring to the festival?

Scottish weather can be unpredictable so bring both suncream and sunglasses... as well as a raincoat! Iona has paths and roads are venues make it so that wellies are not required. Please also bring a valid ID and ensure you have your tickets, either electronic or printed!

Can I bring my own food and drink to the festival?

You can bring your own food and drink to the island but not to any of our venues. We recommend taking the opportunity to try some of the amazing food from local vendors - you won't be disappointed!

Are there age restrictions for the festival?

No! We are family friendly, however music will be on until late each night so you might miss the headliners if your wee ones need to go to bed!

Can I bring my dog to the festival?

Dogs are more than welcome on Iona however they are not permitted in any of our venues. Please also be mindful that while they are also allowed at the campsite, it is located on a working croft so they must be kept on leads.

How can I be mindful of the island community?

We ask that attendees remember that people live and work on the island all year round. Please respect property and keep noise to a minimum between venues and use the many bins provided to dispose of litter!

How do I get to Iona?

To get to Iona you need to get 2 ferries (but that's all part of the fun!). You have to start by getting to Oban where you'll get the ferry to Craignure (Mull) before travelling to Fionnphort (Mull) where you'll get the ferry to Iona!

Will there be a late night sailing back to Mull?

The last ferry to leave Iona is at 18:30 and after that there will be no sailing back to Mull. We recommend coming to camp or grabbing one of our luxury accommodation options to make sure you get the most out of the weekend!

Where can I leave my car?

Only vehicles with permits are allowed on Iona due to the small size of the island, however, there is a free long-stay car park at the top of the hill in Fionnphort where you can park for the weekend and head down to the ferry!
