Sounds from the Kitchen
Event Information
About this event
The kitchen is a place of connection; the beating heart of the home. It is a place of ritual; sharing and sustenance. It is a place where knowledge is passed from generation to generation. In this workshop, we shall explore how we can use food in our poetry to explore our stories and personal histories, and how doing so can help us to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves. We will use discussion of selected examples and creative exercises to percolate ideas and to generate first drafts. No culinary expertise is required!
