'Bright Horizons' - A festival of music celebrating new works for choir and brass, featuring the Choir of St Giles' Cathedral (Edinburgh), Eclectic Voices (London), and Carnyx Brass.
The Choir of St Giles' Cathedral is an adult choir of thirty singers drawn from a wide variety of walks of life from the City of Edinburgh and further afield. They are directed by the Master of the Music, Michael Harris, and sing in the two Sunday morning choral services. Eclectic Voices is based in London, and join the Choir of St Giles' today as part of a small tour. Directed by their founder Scott Stroman, Eclectic Voices perform a wide variety of music, from jazz and gospel to baroque and classical repertoire. https://www.eclecticvoices.org.uk/
Carnyx Brass is directed by John Kenny, and is formed of students and young professional brass players who studied at St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh. They regularly collaborate on special projects throughout the year. http://carnyx.org.uk/carnyx-brass/
