Soundscapes: Celebrating the life of Paul Robertson
You are warmly invited to share a programme of words and music in celebration of the life of Prof Paul Robertson (1952-2016). Paul was an outstanding violinist and founder and leader of the Medici String Quartet, one of the foremost quartets of recent times. He was also deeply interested in neuroscience and the psychology of music and, in his book, just published by Faber, tells of his musical journet through life - and trough a near-death experience 8 years ago.
This event will include readings from the book by those close to him, together with live and recorded music. There will be refreshments and a chance to buy the book at a discounted price. Admission (by ticket only) is free, though donations to the Music Mind Spirit trust in his memory will be welcome.
