Soundshapers Holiday Course
Soundshapers is a new creative music ensemble, with a focus on making fresh sounds through jamming, exploration, and composition.
We’ll be running a two-day project open to all intermediate/Grade 3+ standard level musicians. Come along!
- The course is led by music teachers from Waltham Forest Music Service.
- For students in Years 7 to 11
- All instrumentalists/vocalists welcome (we’ll be monitoring numbers of drummers and amplified guitar players so that the ensembles balances musically. Priority will be given to those who signed up first who meet the criteria)
- Grade 1+ standard, intermediate and advanced levels all welcome
- The course is partially funded so the total fee is £50 (plus ticket fees) for two day course per student.
- The course is from 10am to 3.00pm across two days at Holy Family Catholic School and Sixth Form, Walthamstow House site, 1 Shernall Street, Walthamstow, E17 3EA.
- Students will need to bring their instrument/s though we have a limited number of keyboards and drum kits that can be used.
- Students should bring a packed lunch, drink and any snacks required. (No nuts please)
