Come and learn how to make sourdough bread in a real bakery! Join Simon and Jeremy at Raise Bakery's facility in Worthing where you will get to spend 4 hours learning the basis of sourdough bread baking.
In this class we’ll create and bake two sourdough breads.
A classic Rye Bread of Russian decent, the Borodinsky Bread, flavored with caraway and coriander, and traditionally sweetened with molasses.
And Olive Oil Sourdough, a pizza like flat bread, that’s of Italian origin. It’s the opposite of a rye bread, light, fluffy and full of holes. It extemely versatile and can be topped with almost anything. Perfect for snacks, sandwiches or as a side dish.
We’ll also be learning how to create and maintain the sourdough starter that’s used in both these breads, and can be used in any future sourdough recipe.
