Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre is working with the UK Met Office and CDKN Asia to support cities in South Asia for heatwave actions. In this context, the Climate Centre will be holding a regional stakeholder workshop to discuss the risk of extreme heat events and their impacts in South Asia. The workshop aims to bring together scientists and practitioners working on heat risks in the region and share best practices of reducing heat impacts. The outcomes of the workshop will further inform the city focused activities on heatwave action planning and their implementation.
