Do I need to book to attend?

Booking is encouraged so we know you are coming, but families are also welcome to attend without a reservation.

What time are the Head of School talks?

There will be two talks during the evening, at 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm.

Can I bring my child with me?

Yes, we encourage Year 6 pupils to attend with their parents or carers. Siblings are also welcome.

What should I expect on the evening?

You will be able to tour the school, meet teachers, staff and student ambassadors, and learn more about how South Chingford lives its values of Fostering Ambition, Building Resilience and Uniting for Excellence.

Is parking available?

Limited parking is available on site. We encourage families to walk or use public transport where possible.

South Chingford Foundation School warmly invites Year 6 families to our Open Evening on Tuesday 30 September, 5.00 – 7.30 pm. This is your chance to explore our school, meet our dedicated staff and student ambassadors, and see what everyday life looks like at SCFS.

Headteacher talks will take place at 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm, giving you the opportunity to hear more about our vision, values, and the support we provide for every student.

Throughout the evening, you’ll discover how we live our values of Fostering Ambition, Building Resilience, and Uniting for Excellence. Families can tour our facilities, ask questions about the transition to secondary school, and hear directly from the people who make our community so special.
