In celebration of National Walking Month, we're thrilled to partner with South Downs National Park for this exhilarating adventure.

Join us for a picturesque hike through the stunning landscapes of the South Downs, as we explore the woodlands, rolling hills, and historic villages of East Hampshire. Springtime brings vibrant greenery, wildflowers, and enchanting history along our route, from Bronze Age sites to remnants of Roman and 16th-century life. Be on the lookout for rare wildlife, including the elusive cheese snail!

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet likeminded hikers & adventurers from across the country, and enjoy a scenic social trek as part of a professionally organised event with qualified mountain guides.

THE WALK

Time: Meet 08:30, Trek starts 09:30

Location: Queen Elizabeth Country Park Visitor Centre

Car Parking: Queen Elizabeth Country Park, S Downs Way, Waterlooville PO8 0QE

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY - (Car parking may be limited so it’s important to arrive on time)

Walk distance/Duration:

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Moderate - come prepared for a moderately challenging trek. As always, being physially trained will help you enjoy the experience more.

The route is 12km long and should take between 4 to 5 hours.

You should expect to be finished by 3pm.

At the start at the Visitors Centre, there are toilets and a café offering takeaways. We will be stopping for lunch at Buriton Village Hall, where toilet facilities will also be available.


KIT LIST

Hiking boots with ankle support recommended, rucksack, waterproof jacket & trousers, extra layers, water bottle & packed lunch. You will be sent a full kit list via email.

- Tickets are STRICTLY non transferable and non refundable .

- Please note professional photography & videography may be in place. Content may be shared by ourselves and third parties for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know on the day of the trek.
