Event description
South East Creatives: Networking Sessions

About this Event

After a brief introduction and some housekeeping with James Collie, he will give an overview of how South East Creatives and Violet Pictures will continue to support Kent based filmmakers during these difficult times. After this he will introduce the facilitators and invite them to say a few words about themselves.

Then we will create THREE BREAK OUT ROOMS:

Networking – Where you can chat with each other to find out more. There will be sixty second speed dating so you can find out more about each other.

Projects & Collaborations – Where you can pitch your latest projects and find potential new collaborators.

Chat with James Collie – Where you can continue the conversation with James – Programmer and distributor at Violet Pictures – about anything you like!

We will ask you to tell us which breakout room you want to be in on the day – and don’t worry you can switch between rooms if you change your mind. At the end of the session, we will summarise the discussion in each room for the benefit of the entire group.

This event is in partnership with Screen South's Re-Focus which includes special follow up opportunities after attending the session

Final housekeeping:

1. Each session will be one hour in duration.

2. Please do not record these sessions.

3. We have capacity for no more than fifty people at each session.

4. If you require a live transcript we would like to encourage you to use – a free software system that live-transcribes audio on your laptop.

5. Please mute your microphone on arrival. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask at any time in the chat function and we will answer them as we go.

6. Please do not share the registration link further than yourself. The sessions are designed for limited numbers to ensure everyone who wants to share thoughts / questions / ideas will have an opportunity to do so

This event is free and open to all in Kent's Creative Sector
