About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

As the National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC), celebrates its 80th anniversary this year, Steve Kearney will explore the history of scaffolding and NASC’s massive impact upon the sector. For instance, NASC released their work at height guidance, SG4 Preventing falls in scaffolding operations in the mid-90s, updating it several times in the intervening years, and SG4 has helped drive an 89% reduction in the accident frequency rate for falls within NASC’s contractor membership.

Steve will also discuss the importance of managing scaffolding, understanding the handover and inspection process, and how to keep up to date with relevant scaffolding safety and technical information.
