South East London Fabric Swap

Days are getting colder and the nights are drawing in... It's the perfect excuse to cosy up at a sewing machine.

Got sewing materials or supplies gathering dust? Bring them along to share or exchange for fresh inspiration!

All ticket proceeds go directly to Lewisham Donation Hub. This local, volunteer-run charity collects and redistributes food, clothing, toiletries, and household essentials to anyone in need, including families, asylum seekers, and people experiencing homelessness.

Getting There

The Fox & Fikrin is at 316 Lewisham High Street.

There is no dedicated car park, and on-street parking can get busy.

Public transport is easiest. It's just a short walk from Ladywell Station (mainline from London Bridge) or Lewisham Station (mainline and DLR).

What to Bring

** Good quality, clean fabric remnants of 1 meter or more in length.

** Sewing patterns, notions, and haberdashery also welcome!

** Please label fabric with its length and fibre content, if known.

Anything left unclaimed at the end of the event will be donated to local schools and charities.

How it Works

1. Drop off your unwanted materials at our tables.

2. Grab a drink at the bar.

3. Browse the donations, take or give as much (or as little) as you like.

4. Connect with other makers and share sewing ideas!
