Our focus is on the new national Kinship Strategy and how we can best take forward the ambitions for high quality and well supported kinship care in the South East. It will include:
- opportunities for practice sharing
- presentation from kinship carers
- practical guidance on how to increase ASGSF funding for special guardians in your LA
- a keynote speech from the chief Executive of the charity Kinship
- hearing from a virtual school head about the new responsibilities of the virtual school in relation to kinship
This conference is open to front line practitioners, first line managers and senior managers responsible for kinship care.The event is free, with free parking and refreshments provided so please book early via event brite to secure your place as spaces are limited
