Informal Business Networking

Taking place at Bella Italia, Abbey Wood Shopping Park (BS34 7JL); the South Gloucestershire Networking events will be held at 7:15am to 9 am every second Tuesday of the month. Offering free 4 hour car parking in the retail centre car park and right next door to Filton 'Abbey Wood' railway station platform for easy access by car, train or cycle.

At a cost price of currently £11.00 (plus small Eventbrite fee) this event is designed by local business owners for the owners of small businesses/the self employed and start-ups. There are no joining fees, no membership fees, no monthly standing orders, just book and pay via Eventbrite and turn up on the day with some business cards ready to hand out and a willingness to listen and share best practice ideas and business opportunities. The South Gloucestershire Networking events give local business owners the opportunity to expand their networks and grow their business in an informal setting, with no pressure.

Our events attract business owners based in South Gloucestershire and beyond, to network over a fantastic breakfast at Bella Italia. Breakfast choices include - Full English, Vegetarian, Cooked Breakfast, Fruity Pancakes or Cereal and Fresh Fruit, plus hot and cold drinks.

Bella Italia is a great venue for those new to networking as the set-up is cosy and familiar (a step away from more traditional networking). For those who are new to networking and a little nervous, this is a very friendly informal event designed to help.

We welcome business owners to join the South Gloucestershire Networking LinkedIn Group to get to know each other in an informal setting outside of our main networking events.

More experienced networkers are of course, also very welcome. This venture is about collaboration between businesses in South Gloucestershire and beyond.

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

By car, head for the MoD Abbey Wood roundabout and follow the signs for the Shopping Park. There is plenty of free parking for up to 4 hours.

By train, a 2 minute walk from Filton Abbey Wood station.

What can I bring into the event?

Please bring a supply of business cards. You are welcome to bring any flyers or leaflets advertising your products / services / events. Please do not bring any floor standing banners as there is limited display space.

What's the refund policy?

You can cancel up to 21 hours before and receive a full refund. After that time we will have committed the restaurant to preparing your meal and thus we are unable to offer a refund with less than 21 hours notice.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, just introduce yourself when you arrive.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes you can, just log back into eventbrite and make any amendments before the event closes (10.15am the day before the event takes place).
