Where can I park?

Ideally you will local so travel by foot/cycle , but if you need to park , there should be spaces along Kingfisher Drive. Please ensure you do not block the emergency access gate into South Lake next to the Children's Play area.

Question 3

What should I wear?

We may get our clothes dirty so please wear old clothes.  Gardening gloves will be useful if you have them, and sensible footwear like welly boots or walking shoes.  There may be an opportunity for adults to wear waders and enter the pond, in this case we will bring a selection of sizes for use.

Do I need to bring tools?

No -  you do not need to bring any tools , we will provide everything you need for various tasks - example loppers, spade/shovel, wheelbarrow, trowel.

Can children take part?

Accepted Answer

Children over the age of 8 are welcome to join you but must be under your parent or guardian responsibility and supervision at all times. We will be working around the edges of a pond and sharp tools such as bypass loppers will be in use. Please ensure a space is booked for yourself and children.
