Event description
Our Community Voices video event is a brilliant opportunity to get involved with shaping health and care services in South Nottinghamshire..

About this Event

Do you live in South Nottinghamshire (the area covering Broxtowe, Gedling, Rushcliffe and Hucknall)? If so, then why not join us at our virtual community event on Thursday 1 October 2020?

We hope it will be a fantastic opportunity to find out how to have your say and get involved with the development of health and care services across South Nottinghamshire.

The event, which runs from 3pm to 5pm, will either take place using video technology, using either Zoom or Microsoft Teams. You will receive a notification detailing the links to follow and event information and support guides in early September.

The event is open to all local people and will be led by Broxtowe GP and South Notts Integrated Care Partnership Clinical Lead, Dr Nicole Atkinson, and Dr John Brewin, Chief Executive, Nottinghamshire Healthcare.

There will be a couple of introductory presentations and then we're planning break out rooms where you can pick a priority that you are interested in and discuss how you think we can improve services for local people. These priorities are:

  1. Ageing well
  2. Care Navigation (the patient journey through health and social care)
  3. Mental Health
  4. Health and well-being
  5. Community engagement

When you sign up you will be asked to rate the above according to your interest so we can assign rooms as fairly as possible.

We hope you join us for what we hope will be an enjoyable and informative event.
