Join us for an inspiring evening at the South Construction Network – Celebrating Success event, where we bring together construction professionals, students, and Armed Forces leavers to connect, celebrate, and share success stories from across the industry.
The evening begins with a compelling keynote from Andrew Shackleford, who will share his journey to achieving MCIOB status while still serving in the Armed Forces. Now with AtkinsRéalis, Andrew is a passionate advocate for professional development and chartership in construction.
Following a short break for food, refreshments, and networking, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with our event sponsors: ISS/BuildForce and Hays Recruitment.
We’ll then continue the celebration with Jason Hunt, this year’s Construction Manager of the Year (CMYA), who will showcase his incredible work on projects such as Europe’s first strongfloor at Airbus Bristol, the SS Great Britain, and the Bristol Beacon.
To round off the evening, we’ll shine a spotlight on the next generation of talent, recognising students from the University of the West of England (UWE) who have received CIOB Certificates of Excellence, as well as the winners of the CIOB Bristol Excellence Awards for both BSc and MSc Construction Project Management.
