It's Arrived

South Ribble Partnership is excited to share with you the NEW Community Strategy for South Ribble.

Join us at the Big Do for the opportunity to find out what our plans are for the Strategy and how your organisation can get involved and be a part of this collaborative group.

We have an exciting agenda for you which includes, our guest speaker, Maria Desmond MBE and a series of panels with the experts where you will be able to put your questions as well as find out about what we can do to work in Partnership to achieve better outcomes for all.

There is also a lunch and time to network with lots of organisations from across the business, community and public sectors.

It's free to attend and we hope you will join us.

The Community Strategy 2019-24
After an extensive consultation exercise with residents and organisations across South Ribble, a Community Strategy for 2019-24 has been developed. Receive your copy on the day together with an opportunity to meet our Leader and Executive Boards who are there to make sure the strategy that partners and communities have developed gets delivered.

We are delighted to have with us as our MC for the day: Dave Guest, BBC North West Tonight

Dave Guest is Chief Reporter with BBC TV Northwest Tonight. Dring a TV career spanning four decades he's reported on some of the major stories affecting the North West region, from the Harold Shipman murders to the Manchester Arena attack.

But his life as a TV reporter is nothing if not varied. He also reports on the quirkier aspects of life too from skate boarding dogs to barking ducks!

Dave is married and lives in Wigan.

This will definitely be an exciting addition to the South Ribble Big Do, and it will be a pleasure having Dave with us for the launch of our South Ribble Community Strategy for 2019-24.

We are delighted to have with us our Key Note Speaker: Maria Desmond, MBE

With a portfolio of connections across Government, Business and the Third Sector, Maria's skills lie in Business Delivery and Communications along with Event Management, Change and Transformation and Stakeholder Engagement.

Maria is passionate about supporting ex offenders and their families, encouraging positive Corporate Responsibility and championing initiatives for the elderly, including addressing social isolation and promoting the work of clinical research into Dementia.

Based on insight from Maria's wealth of experience as a Civil Servant and now 'Connector', this talk with focus on the benefits of Effective Partnership Working.
