This training is the introduction training to the C-Card condom distribution scheme. It is compulsory training for all those interested in distributing condoms as part of the scheme.
The training aims to enable participants to confidently address sex and relationships, sexual health and emotional wellbeing with young people at a foundational level.
By the end of the training participants will have gained knowledge and understanding of:
• Contraception and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
• Identifying risk and providing support through appropriate services
• Confidentiality, Fraser Guidelines and safeguarding
• Sexual health and relationships and how these are linked to emotional health and wellbeing
