Following the success of our first get together in March this year, we are coming together again on Saturday 4th October for a day of in person connections and reflections.
The Southwest Coaches Get Together days are open to any coach in the Southwest of England (or beyond) who welcomes coming together in person to meet other coaches in a relaxed, creative and fun day.
In these days we catch up with each other, meet new colleagues as well as make time to reflect on our practice and try something new - taking away ideas to move our practices forward.
Included on our day this time are Autumn Reflections and a CPD taster session on LEGO® Serious Play®.
Autumn Reflections
As part of our morning, we will do some Autumn reflections and goal setting.
As we are coming together in early Autumn, a time for slowing down and drawing in, but also for reaping the rewards and benefits of the year’s work, we will do some mindful reflection to take stock and celebrate our successes. Then building on these we will set some goals for the last quarter of the year through vision boarding.
LEGO® Serious Play®
Then after lunch Teresa Leyman has kindly offered to give us a taster of LEGO® Serious Play® exploring the day’s themes through modelling inspired by LSP—offering you a chance to experience it as both a creative method and a practice you can carry forward.
Teresa is a supervisor, outdoors coach, and co-author of the award winning book Playfulness in Coaching: Exploring Our Untapped Potential Through Playfulness, Creativity and Imagination.
I am really looking forward to this day, experiencing new things, having time to reflect on my practice, catching up with collegues and meeting new ones too.
